From sharpening new skates for Timbits to custom equipment alterations for NHL superstars, Done Right Sports is proud to have serviced their clients for over thirty years.

Dave and Elaine Dufresne founded the business in 1980 with one skate sharpener, one industrial sewing machine and huge dreams. Those dreams have been realized in a 4000 sq. foot shop with four skate sharpeners, eight sewing machines, a hydraulic die clicker, as well as many other customized machinery to tackle any sports equipment repair job.

Prior to 1980, Dave worked as a licensed auto mechanic in Calgary. His natural aptitude for mechanics has brought custom machinery to the business and innovative solutions for clients.

As a young child, Elaine showed interest in her father’s occupation as a shoemaker and learned how to operate an industrial sewing machine. She is creative and willful – a combination of attributes that has allowed her to find solutions for the most challenging projects.

Through the years they have provided exceptional service to their customers in a friendly environment and have been authorized by many major manufacturers.

Our promise is to offer only quality materials and exceptional service to our customers.
